Privacy Policy

Provessa Price Calc is operated by Fuelviews, Inc. ("we," "us"). This policy is written for two readers: a visitor who uses a price calculator on a contractor's website, and a contractor who runs an account with us. Each has their own section, because we hold different information about each and hold it in different roles.

1. If you used a calculator on a contractor's website

The calculator you used belongs to the contractor whose website (or hosted estimate page) you were on. When you use it, we process your information on that contractor's behalf — they decide what happens with it; we store and deliver it for them.

What we collect

• Your answers to the calculator's questions (for example, measurements and options) and the estimate range they produced.
• Contact details, only if you submit them. The estimate is shown before the contact step, and you can stop there. If you continue, we collect the name, phone number or email, and optional ZIP code you enter.
• Your consent choice. If you tick the consent box, we record the exact disclosure text you were shown, its version, the time, your IP address, your browser's user agent, and the page the calculator reported. The box is never pre-ticked, and ticking it is not required to see your estimate. This record exists so the contractor can evidence what you agreed to.
• Anonymous usage events. We record that an estimate was produced — the calculator, the range, a timestamp — with no identifier of you. If the contractor has passed their plan's monthly lead cap, the calculator collects no contact details at all; you are shown the contractor's own phone number or email instead.

What we do not do

• The calculator sets no cookies and does no cross-site tracking. There are no advertising trackers on it.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to build profiles of you.
• We do not send your details to any AI system.

Where your details go

Your details are delivered to the contractor you asked to hear from — in their dashboard, by email notification, and, if they connect one, to their own customer system by webhook. If the contractor enables follow-up emails, we send them on the contractor's behalf, and every message has an unsubscribe link that works in one click.

How long we keep it

Leads and consent records are kept for up to four years — the limitations period of the federal telemarketing statute — and then deleted. The contractor can delete your lead sooner, and deleting it deletes it.

Your choices

To access, correct, or delete details you submitted, the fastest path is the contractor you contacted — the information is theirs to act on. You can also write to us at [email protected]; we will act on the contractor's instruction or forward your request to them, and we will tell you where your request stands either way.

2. If you run a contractor account

What we collect

• Account and business information: your name and email, business name, trade, ZIP code, business phone and email, and branding you upload.
• Acceptance records: the Terms version you accepted, when, and from what IP address.
• Billing: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We hold your plan, invoices, and subscription state; we never store card numbers.
• Usage: what your calculators do (estimates produced, leads captured) and ordinary server logs.
• AI builder inputs, on plans that include it: the descriptions you give the builder are processed by our AI provider to draft your calculator.
• Rate corrections, unless you opt out: anonymised at the moment of collection and used to improve suggested starting rates in your region, as described in the Terms. Never linked to your business, never shown, never sold. Opt out any time in your business profile.

Each processes data only to provide its service to us. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your rights

You can access and update account information in the dashboard, export your leads while your account is active, and close your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; write to [email protected] and we will honor them. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

3. Security

Traffic to the Service is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. Access to production systems is limited to people who operate the Service, and each contractor's data is isolated from every other's by the application's tenancy model. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not promise otherwise — but if a breach affects your data, we will notify you as described in the Data Processing Addendum.

4. Cookies

The embedded calculator and hosted estimate pages set no cookies. The contractor dashboard sets the session and security cookies required to keep you signed in — essential cookies only; there is no analytics or advertising cookie anywhere on the Service.

5. Children

The Service is for businesses and their prospective customers, and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

6. International visitors

The Service is operated from the United States and the data it holds is stored there. If you use it from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States.

7. Changes to this policy

Every version of this policy is archived and permanently available. If we make material changes, we will notify contractors by email or in the dashboard before they take effect.
